BTS album ‘Love Yourself: Tear’ release date announced
Big Hit Entertainment has confirmed the release date of “Love
Yourself: Tear,” the third Korean-language studio album of K-pop boy band BTS.
The track listing has yet to be unveiled but the album reportedly has a song
titled “Fake Love.”
“Love Yourself: Tear” will be released on May 18, 2018 as
digital download worldwide and as CD and digital download in South Korea. It is
a follow-up for the BTS album “Love Yourself: Her,” which was released in 2017.
On April 5, 2018, BTS released a short film titled “Euphoria:
Theme of Love Yourself Wonder” featuring a “Euphoria,” a solo song recorded by
Jungkook and produced by RM, DJ Swivel, Candace Nicole Sosa, Melanie
Fontana, Bang Si-hyuk, Supreme Boi, Adora, and BTS leader RM.
The song connected “Love Yourself: Her” and “Love Yourself: Tear.”
On May 20, 2018, BTS boys RM, Jungkook, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin
and V will perform a song from “Love Yourself: Tear” at the Billboard Music
Awards 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. On May 25, 2018, they will perform “Fake Love”
on “The Ellen Degeneres Show.”
This will not be the first time BTS is appearing on the show. The K-pop boy band made its United States
daytime TV debut when they appeared on the show in November 2017.
BTS is nominated for the Top Social Artist award at the Billboard
Music Awards 2018. The K-pop boy band won the award in 2017.
The BTS boys will be at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul, South
Korea on August 25-26, 2018 for the “Love Yourself” world tour. The tour will
continue in the U.S. from September 5, 2018 to October 3, 2018, at The 02 Arena
in London, England on October 9-10, 2018, at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam,
Netherlands on October 13, 2018, at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany
on October 16-17, 2018 and at the Accorhotels Arena in Paris, France on October
19-20, 2018.
